Ninja Gaiden is one of the best Hack and Slash series, Darksiders is an okay game pick which one you want

you obviously didn't play both versions.

true there are less enemies, but the AI is vastly improved and the enemies health is longer thus the game is a lot harder , there is blood but less than NG2 and there is decapitation , there is more bosses , online is not laggy according to me.

some weapons were replaced to have more balance, some of them were too powerful in NG2

so all in all NGS2 is better than NG2?

another thing to note on NG2, many discs have an inherent fault so you cant play past a certain chapeter near the end. i dont think i fix was issued

darksiders hands down, its the sleeper hit of the year. ninga gaiden sigma 2 is good but too easy and just doesn have the replay factor that darksiders does. so buy darksiders. :)

Chapter 14 is a travesty compared to NG2 chapter 11.  And sure, they removed IS and WS becasue...they give you UNLIMITED projectile ammo. Also, no more tests of valor.  Nobody says Sigma 2 is harder outside of the mission modes.  And no, purple stuff that disappears and heads that doesn't stay around isn't blood.

so you are basing what you are saying on youtube videos?

as you see all enemies die easily in NG2 they respawn rapidly.
as for Sigma 2 they're tougher and need more tactics to beat them , but don't respawn rapidly, also you NEED those unlimited projectile ammo, why? they don't hurt the enemies at all ! , but they slow them down in order to chain more combos, on NG2 the IS and WS are too freaking powerful.

while you are basing it on youtube videos i am basing it on my own playthrough, NG2 is easier (and a lot more brutal) than NGS2

darksiders imo is ten times better than ninja gaiden , so much content in darksiders more so than ninja gaiden and i just love the world its set in and the characters so much.

Now I know you haven't played NG on master ninja difficulty.  It's not just my opinion, but almost everyone on Iberian's forum - which is where the top people are - agrees with me.  You have got to be shitting me, they took out almost ALL the incendiary spam from the ninjas, reduced their aggressiveness, removed all tests of valor, removed hit interruption while charging your UT, removed charging projectiles, and you want to say that the game is harder? lol

And yes, I've played Sigma on a friend's PS3, and we were both unimpressed.

If you want a good challenge go buy NGS2!!

Besides you can play with Momiji Ayane and Rachel and this is a very good extra for your money
