Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 or Darksiders??Which should I buy??

Darksiders 20 33.90%

Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 39 66.10%

Total:59

Two pretty different games. I don't think you can go wrong with either, so get what you are in the mood for.

Ninja Gaiden is pure hack and slash, and IMO, the best hack and slash series.

Darksiders, from what I've played and read, is like a combat heavy Zelda game.

NinjaGaiden if you want some challangs.

But even better then NG Sigma2 is NinjaGaiden 2 for X360.

Best, of course, is NinjaGaiden Black.

I have to disagree on that one.

sigma 2 has more chapters in single player,,,moree charcters to play with ( i love ayane),,,and most importantly ,,,online co-op

X360 has only more blood that's about it.

so imo

NGS2>>>NG2

Sigma 2 just looks nicer, that's about it.  Compared to NG2, there are less enemies, removed weapons (no IS, no WS), reduced AI, no blood/body parts.  Maybe some more bosses here and there.  Online is a laggy mess according to those on Iberian's, and as far as I know they are never going to patch it.

I would say Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2, I only played a little bit of Darksiders on my cousins 360 and I didn't like it that much.

Also I don't think NGS2 is that difficult compared to the first one, which I never beat.

Lets see:

Ninja gaiden 2 is one of the best action games ever. With a combat system that God of war and DMC can't even begin to compare with.

Darksiders is the most average game i've ever played and the ONLY game this entire generation that I finished and then sold the very next day (and in fact the first game I have sold since the N64/PS1 era). And also the only game i've bought this generation and after finishing it really regretted spending money on it.

Basically NG2 is incredible and Darksiders is pretty rubbish. Darksiders just doesn't have much too it. Combat is empty, world is empty, story is empty etc etc. But the worst thing about it is even on the hardest difficulty it is easy. The post game content is practically zero. Thus the replayability is NOTHING! Easy to complete on hardest first time though and get everything. So after that whats the point in playing? To go through the story again now you are even better at the game and things are even easier?

Darksiders is like Zelda if Zelda were for very young children and stripped of most of the things that make it good. Yes it is covered in ''mature'' art. However the game is short, simple, easy, no depth and NO WORLD! Honestly the worst thing about it is that there are basically only 2 npcs in the entire world. Thats it. Then just a few characters in cutscenes. For a game that is meant to be like Zelda with a big world to explore the world is pathetic. Small and completly barren. I honestly can't understand why people think it's good. People who say it is Zelda for the 360 and PS3 are flat out wrong. It's starfox adventures (which was already a simplfied version of zelda) dumbed down and badly done for the 360 and ps3.

Turkish says and I'm allowed to quote that: Uncharted 3 and God Of War 3 look better than Unreal Engine 4 games will or the tech demo does. Also the Naughty Dog PS3 ENGINE PLAYS better than the UE4 ENGINE.

lol @ Zims reply

Yeah I'd go for Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2. I played darksiders and I felt like I was wasting time. Combat isn't challenging and the game itself just isn't as fun as any of the games its ripping off.

Ninja Gaiden 2 on xbox360 was a solid experience even if it was somewhat of a letdown when looking at Ninja Gaiden Black. I hear Sigma one is improved so the choice is obvious.

What about Bayonetta though? That game I found to be best hack and slash of this gen.

Ninja Gaiden 2 on xbox is harder then NGS2, if your into difficulty

oh no no no

I never finished NG1 on my xbox due to frustrating difficulty ,,,,got upto chapter 13.(the nly game in my collection that i never finished actually)

so NGS2 is easier??

Dude, you just declared yourself incapable of getting your money's worth out of Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2. Yes, you could say NGS2 is "the easiest" of the bunch, but it will still be pretty hard to you. If you don't plan on playing on anything harder than "path of the warrior" (normal) and you're not into honing your skills and DYING A LOT, the game to you will be much like playing through a Street Fighter game on easy difficulty and once you are done with Bison you're done with the game. You won't do much, even teaming up with a very good player, on the team missions, there are quite a bunch of them that are quite easy, but the "meat" of the mode is the harder missions, and you will certainly not tackle that.

Get Darksiders.

ninja gaiden has a much better combat system, but the rest of the game is highly unpolished. Darksiders is a much more complete product with a much better story, world and characters.

Bayonetta is pretty decent as well, but only if you have a 360.

Like wise, with the PS3, GoW3 is the best choice. dont miss out on it.

both good games but darksiders gets old quicker

my signature went on strike, it's demanding 3% raise
