I don't think there are enough ps3 games to push hardware sales enough to make it that the ps3 will get there first.

There's likely going to be an adjustment because of Microsoft's quarterly report so I'd say PS3 will probably pull it off.

EDIT: They're both wrong, actually, because the PS3 isn't selling anything. But "sell" is closer, because it's a verb.

OT: It will be close, but I'll say the 360 will just about make it first, barring any huge jump in sales by the PS3 or adjustments.

With golden week in japan I think they will hit the marks during the same week. Although there could be a PS3 adjustment shortly when Sony releases its numbers for Q4.

I expect the 360 to hit 40m 1-2 weeks before the PS3 hits 35m, unless something really weird happens (like 360 sales crash massively after SC:C for some reason, but that would be...more than just weird).

Adjustments, of course, could always change this is there are any, but 360 by 1-2 weeks based on what we're seeing right now.
