You should use a guide while playing it, though. It can be quite a hassle to beat the enemies if you don't have a guide, since you'll have to figure out by yourself each of their weaknesses (you collect the different types of folklore -monsters- of the world, and you use them to attack, some are effective against other types of monsters, some are not. Same thing with bosses and their different weak points.

yes get it, its a top title

...not much time to post anymore, used to be awesome on here really good fond memories from VGchartz...

PSN: Skeeuk - XBL: SkeeUK - PC: Skeeuk

really miss the VGCHARTZ of 2008 - 2013...

Ehh, This game okay. It has in my opinion the best use of six-axis control in any game as it actually enhances the gameplay I thought

it was to repetitive... and the story was told like a comic book, most of the time.

it was close to being really good, but had to many problems, slowdown etc.

It's a solid game. 7/10 in my book. I loved the atmosphere, and the gameplay action is solid. If you don't like Sixaxis motion control stay way from it since that's a big part of the game (it's mandatory). Some very nice boss fights too, and liked the whole fantasy world and story.

I played the game (and a one of the DLC bundles); the above quote is right on money with my feelings as well.

EDIT: Grammer Fix.

I'd recommend Folklore for the story; it's very good and suspenseful. The game also has a fantastic soundtrack and art-style, and it uses the six-axis very well. The only that bogs it down is its repetitiveness. You have to go through the same levels and fight the same boss twice, but if you the story hooks you, you might withstand its repetitiveness.

I agree too, although I didn't play any of the DLC, but the game was pretty darn amazing to be honest.

I love this game, the artistic design is oustanding, the music is awesome, sometimes I had to stop playing to see every detail on the enemies and enviroments and is quite fun. But the combat and camera are not the best thing in the world, specially the use of SIXAXIS plus there're some nitpiks about the presentation and the story. But I'd really recomend it and more for 15 bucks

the game isn't without faults, however the story is awesome. 7/10 is a fair rating for it.
