I wonder how much Nintendo paid them to say that.

Lol!

(That was a for fun comment, and in no way do I mean to troll the Wii, Sega, Or Nintendo!)

Yea, you dont know much about Nintendo do you?

You can't say they don't support third parties enough one minute, then say its all under the table kick backs the next.

edit - im aware that it is a joke but i guess im premeditating the people who believe it.

Actually Nintendo is doing great I think at the moment. Xenoblade and The Last Story are shaping up to be some awesome games. I'm definitely in for both! :D

Wagram is bipolar. Trolling Nintendo in one post then praising Nintendo in the next.

We should have a sweep on how many gaming websites will pick up on this story (without somehow still spinning it into a negative).

I'll go for less than five...

I think Tournament of Legends is not going to sell great numbers. But it is going to be released as a budget title which is attractive but I think it's not appealing enough for the Wii "core" market. The Conduit 2 is more promising and I beg you SEGA, if you want The Conduit 2 advertise it like Capcom did with Monster Hunter Tri.

I am playing Black Ops on Wii.

I doubt anyone will even publish it as it would be against their agenda.  If someone does publish it, I'm sure there might be spin - like you said.

LOL!!  Sega's T or M rated games that are out on those HD systems don't sell either.  I hope they can establish some new IP thats sticks and becomes a main stay for this generations of sytems so I can play the follow up on the next gen systems. for now..Sega games - Adventure/non existant,  Shooters/They copied the other guy,  Racers/What?,  Sonic/He's  ok so long as he's stretch out on all systems and teamed with that mustached guy but he seems to be flattening out.  FPS/Trying something new(needs more push).  Flying/.....,  Platformers/never again it seems,  Puzzles/puzzling isn't it?  Casual/ err...Umm..., ok Tell me.  I'm playing more Sega Old school content threw DL or reprints on collection CD than any of thier new stuff.  C'mon Sega!!    What happened?

Did Sega lose the license for the Olympic Games? Or do you see another problem?

It can't be too hard to call a game "... Olympic games in (whereever it is in 2012)". Wii Motion Plus support, new disciplines, it's not like Sega would have no new ideas to implement.

Sales obviously won't reach the same incredible level of the first game, but it's a guaranteed cash cow. Also, it's actually only every four years because summer and winter olympics are vastly different, so oversaturation is rather unlikely. Plus, as I already said, there are plenty of events that Sega could add into future games and additionally there's always the possibility of more fantasy events to prevent the games from getting stale.

Luckily, Sega has found an IP that will consistently bring home the bacon, at least for the immediate future.

Poor financial quarters always can look forward to the next "M&S game" and they have Nintendo to thank. I guess they could always 'reinvent the wheel" if it gets stale or something.

As far as I know, people rush yearly editions of sports games.... so even if you think it'll be repetitive, you have to consider that the olympics are only every 4 years... so much to rework... heck you'll barely have 2 games of each olympics per gen...
