These type of thing had always been there so why will it kill ds sell
when almost all system can play piracy game
anyway R4 had been there for about 1 yearand nothing much happen
i think GBA also have these type of flash card

err... so what has change...

anyway is memory card for PSP illegal... No but people play piracy game with it is breaking the law...

It's heart-warming to see that Legend11 cares so much about Nintendo... he's worried about Miyamoto's death, DS software piracy, Mario Galaxy sales numbers, ... his level of hypocrisy is just cute.

Cmon man, if you want to bash, do it properly and proudly! Stand up and say what you're thinking:
"I HOPE MARIO GALAXY DOESN'T SELL A SINGLE COPY!"
"I WANNA SEE NINTENDO GO BANKRUPT!"
"YOU'LL SEE IN 10 YEARS MIYAMOTO WILL BE DEAD AND GONE AND WITHOUT HIM NINTENDO WILL STRUGGLE TO EVEN PORT MINESWEEPER TO THE DS! OH BTW HE IS COMPLETELY OVERRATED ANYWAY"

Currently playing: NSMB (Wii)

Waiting for: Super Mario Galaxy 2 (Wii), The Last Story (Wii), Golden Sun (DS), Portal 2 (Wii? or OSX), Metroid: Other M (Wii),
... and of course Zelda (Wii)

This is insanely old news - the R4 has been a worldwide thing for a very long time now and while it may have affected sales of software - it certainly hasn't damaged the reputation of the DS.

The piracy and homebrew situations are much more evident and apparent with the PSP than they are the DS.

"The R4 looks like a simple piece of plastic. It is just a couple of centimetres square, a few millimetres thick and unbelievably easy to use. For Nintendo it is the Christmas stocking filler from hell.

Made in China, available for sale over the internet and now doing a roaring trade on the streets of Tokyo, the R4 has emerged as perhaps the ultimate video game piracy tool. "

Well the wii is pretty easy to pirate for. My cousin got a modchip and had someone install it and works great.

This kind of device is as old as the DS, so you failed at the attempt to create a threat for Nintendo and/or search reliable informations on Internet.

^Click on cards to level'em up!!!^ =D

R4 and other flashcards are available for the DS for quite some time. I use such a flashcart, because I can use other software. DSOrganize for instance helps me to use the DS to take notices, organize the calendar and stuff like that. I also use a program to play MP3 with the DS. I also play some good homebrew-games (try meteora). Commercial games I buy original. I don't even know a source for copied ROM. So please don't see this stuff as piracy-module. It is useful tuning for the DS, I can only recommend it for everyone.

DS pirate cards have been available for the DS for years. I'm not sure why this is news.
