I'm not writing this to be arrogant or anything, I'm just curious.  I have 180.  I've been playing since Red version and was wondering if I'm getting rusty.  I know some of you gotta have like 300 by now haha. 

And the catches must be legitimate. lol

I only have 166, just 14 behind you, but I still have to beat Red and evolve pretty much all of the pokemon on my boxes.

If I were to count the evolutions that I'll gain from the boxes, I'm looking at over 230 pokemon caught. Still a long way to go even half the Pokedex completion

Uhh. I think I'm at like somewhere between 250-270. And I live in Europe so it was released 26th of March here.

Yeah I still have to beat Red too.  However your Cahrizard team member informs me that you must have traded some Pokemanz from Platinum or Pearl/Diamond already.  While I have evolved a good amount of my pokemon, I haven't done any trading yet, so that'll be a nice boost later.  Can't wait to get a Charizard too!  :D

Is it actually possible to collect 'em all without having to go to weird fan-meetings and events and such?

Kudos good sir, I knew a good deal might have more than me.  Once I start importing some pokemon (I am not playing that asinine gambling game to get 9,999 coins for a Porygon) I should be around there.  Nice dude!

I'm currently playing Voltorb Flip non-stop to grab that Porygon :P
