Thanks, Red XIII! Someone posted the video last night but once again, I was unable to view it. Once again, you have come through for me!! You're quickly becoming one of my favorite posters AND one of my favorite FFVII characters!

Now, is it just me or are those Capcom characters horribly overmatched in every single one of those battles?

Well I don't know about Ironman vs Morrigan (never played Darkstalkers), but the Hulk and Wolverine are basically indestructable in the Marvel world.  So yes, I would say that both a) the Capcom characters are overmatched and b) comic book characters can be ridiculous at times.

For example, apparently Wolverine has survived being in the center of an atomic explosion, and the Hulk has smashed an asteroid.

Thanos could wipe both of them out of existance if he wanted, Juggernaut is completely invulnerable, more so then Hulk, and if they include Thor, which they should, he's a god.

Wolverine's recent writing has made him nigh on invincible because lazy writers don't know how to write a story about him that isn't him either killing someone or him getting badly hurt and recovering. The blast you are reffering to I think is after Civil War when he fights Nitro, a guy who is a Captain Mar-vell enemy (as in out of Wolverine's league as a guy who just murder's people to win). In it Nitro explodes and reduces Wolverine to nigh on anything but his 'healing' factor helps him recover. Of course it seems writers have forgotten that healing does not mean regeneration. As far as I always understood it (until recent years) it's like human body just extremely fast and good at healing. This has been ignored though to make him 'cool' since the movies, which has decharacterised him into a murderer and not heroic in comparison to any hero in the Marvel Universe....bar Deadpool.

You can kill him by removing his head from the rest of his body, skeleton might be unbreakable but tendons holding skeleton together are not.

And both Hulk and Wolverine can be knocked out.

Hmm, for a user with the fury as his name, talking about over powered marvel characters fails to mention the fury as an absurdly powerful character, seems almost ironic to me

anyway the fury certainly would be awesome as a boss of the game given his ability to transcend universes and all that

also I really hope capcom doesn't include lame original capcom characters this time, honestly amigo and ruby heart were a waste of space

and I hope we finally have a final fight character in a versus game, honestly Rolento would fit in with little modification or if they want to be really awesome Mike Haggar instead of Zangief

Maybe he meant Nick Fury.

I bet the 360 version gets Marcus Fenix

Maybe but then The Fury was designed to be powerful, to kill superhuman's and it succeeded in it's own universe, only stopped by a reality manipulator and 'low energy' in the next. Difference is Wolverine has been made powerful (unkillable) for the sake of 'coolness' and writing which has removed much of his characterisation, The Fury is powerful by design in the comics and by Alan Moore.

If The Fury was in the game it would be a great day for me and my fanboyism but the character is too obscure and hardly used even by Marvel to be considered, I'd say. Just put in Apocalypse and I'll be happy.

Wasn't Ruby Heart created for MvC2?

I'm afraid not, as per above, name is exactly that.

If they do exclusive characters per version, Kratos from God of War could be in the PS3 version, they are published by Capcom after all in Japan.

Hmm, pie.

I really hope they let you play as Nightcrawler.

O know this is a little off topic but since we are on Marvel. Does anyone else think there was no need for an Iron Man sequel? I mean we all waited 10+ years for this game but already a new Iron Man. C'mon! I'm hating this Super Hero movie trend that seems to never end (Damn you Spider Man) lol. Would be fine if the movies were all top notch and not quick cash-ins

Probably not if they hurried up the Thor/Cap A/Avengers movies but they needed something to fill the gap.

And I'd personally blame X-men as that came first.

Hmmm. Can't beleive that X-Men skipped my mind. Personally I don't care for Iron Man. Never really have. Just my personal opinion

I refuse to accept this.  You are the Fury from Metal Gear Solid 3.  This, I command!
