David Jaffe needs to do something soon to stay relevant. He's losing his cred with me, because since leaving Sony (weird, he loves Sony but left them to make Sony exclusive games......) he's made nothing but crap.

God of War is excellent, but that was 2005. He was just a creative director for II and wasn't even involved with III.

Calling All Cars was fun for like 30 minutes with a friend playing in the same room.
Twisted Metal: that weird titled one for PS2 sucked.

He's become overrated.

Overrated developer. He's on the same level as dennis diack if you ask me.

He's like the Sony equivelant of Peter Molyneux!

Twisted Metal has always been overrated and if he's done anything else besides the first God of War I don't know what it is.

Whereas Peter has made very established games and his track record is much better than than David's.

its coming very soon , hes been making it for like 3 years and he was drunk at dice or something like that a few months ago and he yelled 8 or 9 months bitches !!! lol.

so ya it will be announced at e3 and shipped probably around november december or earlier

if i heard jaffe turned into a pile of jelly tomorrow and never made another game, i dont think id give it a second thought. just "hmmm...jelly you say? i see..."

woooaaahh twisted metal is definitely not overrated, jaffe has a very great creative mind dont hate on wicked games like twisted metal and god of war just cause you dont like the guy lol.

peter's track record is definitely not worse nor better , he has a very bad tendancy to over promise under deliver and that is the worse possible thing someone in this industry can do and black and white were his best games not fable , although fable one was good 2 was nothing special 3 has promise but again he is to focused on talking about the hype and not showing the goods and its always been this way even back in the day on pc

I don't hate David Jaffe because of God of War. I love GoW.

But Twisted Metal is overrated. More so than Final Fantasy VII.

Peter may over promise things, but it's because of the contraints that he has. He would love to incorporate everything into his games.

David Jaffe on the other hand only made a outline of God of War and had his team make it. Twisted Metal isn't a creative game series either. Black & White is. Fable is.

I just hope that his game will be something good.

Not everybody feels this way, some may not feel honored to work with certain publishers and developers, Jaffe was worked with Sony for quit a while, so it is nice to hear through all the ups and downs and stress that come with business, and gaming has tons, that he still respects and enjoys working with Sony, Its not this way for everybody in the business, why don;t you talk to the guys at Infinity Ward, ops, they were fired, and the rest quit, I guess we will have to wait and see how the lawsuit goes, I bet they don't enjoy there partnership with Activision.
