Once you've voted, please explain the different button layouts. Thank you!

I ask because I already own two classic controllers and have no issues with the confortability so the grips are not an issue. The only other difference I'm aware of is the better placement of the 2nd shoulder buttons. Not having played a MH game and not nowing what buttons actually get used makes me wonder if this is even necessary.

Definitely #4, and it's all Capcom's fault!

Anyone have a link to or now the button layout for each control type?

I played the demo with the normal classic controls on CC1 (one of the control options in the game) and the controls work 100% fine. So just stick with that.

Did it even use the Zr/l buttons?

Are those the ones on the back? They're used for camera rotating if so.

Yeah, they are the little round buttons on the inside of the regular shoulder l/r buttons on the classic control. The Pro version makes then a 2nd row of shoulder buttons.

So, if just camera control, I guess I can live with that easy enough.

I actually liked the Wiimote+nunchuck controls in the demo. Shocked how well they worked.

OG CC's sticks are too close, and the shoulder buttons are f-ed for MoHun. I'd say invest in a Pro if you plan to get into Tri, it's only $10 more with the bundle...

I got the CCpro for 2 reasons,

1-Play VC games comfortably
2-Have the special box

Ive played and beat the demo w/Wiimote.

To clear things up: you cannot play the game without the use of a Wiimote. Yes, you can use a Classic Controller, but you need to use the pointer as well. If you want to use a Classic Controller, get ready for some akward moments where you have to hold the Classic Controller in one hand and the Wiimote in another.

Wiimote + Nunchuk is clearly superior, the game was designed for it.

What's the pointer used for?

A game I'm developing with some friends:

It is largely a technical exercise but feedback is appreciated.

The monster encyclopedia and to get information about items, skills, etc. You will be regularly using the pointer.
