Heavy Rain first week --> 86k
God of War III first two weeks --> 94k
Heavy Rain first week > God of War III first week.

Heavy Rain > Wii sport Resort  first week too.

As it should

Currently playing on PS3: God of War III

Currently playing on Xbox360: Final Fantasy XIII

Currently playing on NDS: Chrono Trigger

Around the Network

Oh and GOW3 sales are fine as no GOW game has crossed 200K in the UK

They all have "silver Awards" on the elspa site meaning they have all crossed 100K EVEN the PSP version believe it or not.

So GOW3 will fall in line with previous entries give or take.

All hail the KING, Andrespetmonkey

Heavy Rain was talked about loads, everyone seemed to know about it. Something new and different for people to get their teeth into. I think it's been riding the success of crime dramas like CSI and Dexter. The amount of people I saw in shope buying HR on day one was suprising.

Also wasn't HR given some flak about the dodgy American accents and scenery, plus the poor American box art?

GoW 3 on the other hand has hardly been noticed here, no ones talking aobut it, few people knew or cared when it was getting released and I haven't seen any advertising for it.

I think it's mostly a problem with poor marketing.

GOW3 is selling fine, this is a game that will more than double HR sales numbers. It's just not that big in the UK, NO BIGGIE.

For comparisons sake FF9 & FFX-2 never got more than 200K in the UK, so FF13 has outsold FF9 & FFX-2 there in its first month alone

FF8, FF10, FF12 didn't get over 300K....so they are in the 200K - 299K range....where int hat range specifically we do not know, but it seems FFXIII may outsell FF8, 10, 12 in the UK.

No data for FF7 is present.

Rinoa takes a moment of silence to cry, it's great to see FF XIII doing so well...

Tell rinoa to cry cus FF12 did better than FF9 :(

roflroflrofl j/k

BTW if I had to guess FF10 & FF8 are probably in the high 200K's

FF13 has done 235K so far combined. Even if it did like 80% of its LTD in 1 month (which means it'll have like no legs) it'll sit comfortably over 280K LTD in the UK.

Why would Rinoa cry about FF12 selling better than FF9? Rinoa is in FF8.

Because FF9 is much better than FF12 and cus Rinoa's cool so she feels sympathetic towards other FF's even if they are better than the FF she was in!

Your daughter should be a Rinoa fan!

lol you are so funny xD

it's the future of handheld
