I dunno, I beat both of them recently... I dunno, I just feel that way, no one will probably respond but yeah.

Crisis Core ending was sadder than the overrated death of Aerith in FF7.
So yeah Crisis Core IS better.

lol no you are not the only one, in my opinion Zack was a really lovable character, and the Story was amazing in Crisis Core, despite some of the little hiccups, I really enjoyed it, I never wanted to game to end because we all know what happens to him:(:(

Crisis core is a piece of crap with shitty repetitive and broken gameplay, dull plotline that makes little sense and horrible characterisation that makes some of the cringe worthy moment of FFXIII seem like flawless masterpieces from world renown maestro.

I couldn't even master up any sadness for Zack's death because it could be so easily avoid if you're not a retarded red-headed stepchild of a zergling.

ff7 blows crisis core out of the water in every department except the ending, crisis core's ending is amazing.

obviously you do not have the same tastes as me and that's fine and it does not make my tastes good, or your tastes bad. Good for you. Well except you like Last Exile. That's good.

I guess, I'll well the combat/openworld everything's better... in FF7

I enjoyed the sidestories knowing tseng... and the feeling of inevitablity that was going to happen... I don't know, I just felt attached differently to this game than the other FF's etc... like I mean, all I cared about gameplay wise was that it wasn't is bad as dirge.... and it was much better than dirge in that department..

Crisis core was amazing, only game that's ending has made me cry.

Still, it's pretty clear that 7 is the best though. Theres just so much content, such a great story and awesome gameplay. Even now it's one of the best selling titles on PSN and one of the most higly loved games ever, many other amazing titles have been forgotten but 7 is still a massive cult and loved by many.

I might have to go complete it for the 6th time, lol.

Edit: Just to add, zack was an amazing character. Part of what made me so sad at the end knowing Cloud forgets him and doesn't tell Aeris about what happened to him, so Aeris just thinks zack ran off with someone else. :(

I hated Cloud after crisis core, Zack all the way.
