Forums - Sony Discussion - What did the PS3 do that the Wii and/or XBox 360 copied?

The Wii was responsible for the outbreak of motion control, now with the PS3 and 360.

The XBox 360's achievements came first and then the PS3 added trophies.

Can anyone fill me in on what the PS3 does that the Wii and/or 360 happened to copy?  I am seeing the Wii getting a controller add on for the Wiimote that looks like the 360.  Outside of that, what else?  Can someone fill me in here?

well technically the ps3 was the first to use motion control this generation (they launched the six axis on Nov 11 while the wii came out Nov 16 2006). i guess that's something :p

And what about the 360?  Game Room copying Home?  It isn't quite the same.  It is more like a deluxe version of the Wii's virtual console.

How many copy who copy what copy everyone copy post do we need a month?

How about installing games to HDD?

The PS3 comes with Blu-ray, and the 360 just happens to get an HD-DVD attachment.

I guess in theory both Microsoft and Nintendo copied Sony on the whole motion controls, the eyetoy was only released how many years before the Wii or 360? Though I don't consider the standard wiimote as motion controls as it is just a mouse. And well we don't say using our mice on computers as motion controllers now do we?

The 360 copied having a drive that can play HD movies. You may not remember because HD-DVD crashed and burned.

I hope he knows that the link you posted is for funzy only ^^;;;;;;;

they copied the music??

I guess the only logical thing would be HD video content that the Xbox 360 tried to combat with HD-DVD and later Netflix.
