ya.. one game is a really bad reason for not liking a console. Like you said it will be out maybe 2010 (well 2009 most likely) the PS3 will be way cheaper by then. There will be great games on the system and affordable for the masses.

If you plan to buy a ps3 eventually any way (and from your posting history it seems that's the case) then why does it matter? Even if it does head to ps3 in 2010 or beyond, by then the ps3 will be around $200, possibly lower.

Won't you be like 16-17 by then? You'll be working, and I'm sure your parents won't forbid you from spending your money on a console you want.

Also, it seems a bit short sighted to get a console so early on when you can only choose one.

You know, that scenario of yours , for us Wii fans, would be like catching Greenpeace members and Michael Jackson in the act of perpatrating the species. Even if it does happen....no one really wants to know about it :).

I agree with makingmusic; if you're old enough get a job and buy what you like. I've worked since I was 14 by the way and all my consoles and games are bought spending my money without asking my parents. That's how I got a HDTV recently and buying a PS3 soon.
