When Little Big Planet 2 comes out, I'll buy LBP1 for cheap and then make all of the levels in LBP2!! It's genius!!

A sequel to LittleBigPlanet is unnecessary. However it makes sense financially given the walmarts.
Way to kill the franchise...
How will those people feel who bought LittleBigPlanet, made all those levels on it, have friends dedicated to playing together, and bought all that DLC that cost like $80...
If they make a sequel to LittleBigPlanet, a lot of the fanbase, myself included will be really pissed off, since it's dividing the userbase we have already.
Fuck mediaMolecule if this turns out to be true...

LBP1 is already cheap. I bought the game of the year edition for 30$
Not a good idea imo.. the game is selling and will coninue to sell throughout the PS3's entire life cycle..
Bundle the game, and make money off the DLC. Don't make a sequel, because that goes against the game's philosophy.
I still don't get the point. Unless this is 3D it's just going to cannibalize it's own online and content creators.
I really hope this isn't true. Unless they plan on making it 3D, LittleBigPlanet isn't the kind of game that needs a sequel. Ever.

Carl made a good post above, I'm not sure all of that could be done with DLC.
Surely you want a nice new LBP leo?!!
It's sony's best new IP this gen (yes I believe better than uncharted) and from what I know MM arnt the type to just churn out any old sequel, It'll be different than the first.
I don't want a new LBP, because LBP itself constantly gets bigger and better each and every day with user created levels, that rate from crap to jaw dropping experiences.
