iirc it was around 1.4GB or so..not 100% sure though.

Depending on your connection and where you download from, it could take between a couple of minutes to several days or possibly weeks to download. More than likely it will take you several hours though.

You can always start it and come back later of course.

The demo is just under 1.4 gigs and it takes place on the level, "Bog Rescue" which I believe is the second level in the American attack against Al-Asad in which your squad is sent to rescue a disabled tank.
