@Schwarz: Kuhn will continue until summer 08. If Hitzfeld leaves Munich after this season, he will probably take the job because he went on record saying that the only job he could imagine next to Bayern coach would be swiss national coach.
If he will make another season in Munich, Gross is the hottest candidate, but he knows that he also can become swiss national coach in five years and he wants to qualify for the champions league again with Basel. So maybe if this season turns out great (which would mean champion, cup winner and quarter finals in the UEFA-Cup at least) he may leaves in 2008.
Third candidate is the assistant Michel Pont who would be a good joice in my opinion. The team will likely stay the same after the Euro, so it would be good to continue working with someone that knows the team well.

However, I'm pretty sure that the new coach will be better than Kuhn. He had huge luck that his team is great, he can't motivate players and he is not a tactical nor a strategical mastermind.
