I know it does, but I'm asking if it's yet profitable as a whole project. If the amount of money invested is bigger than the total profits you get from it when all is said and done, then it means it wasn't profitable.

It wasnt well received, I agree. But I think it suffered to the fact the PSP brand has fallen badly as of late. And the Go should have been touch screen, I still can't believe Sony did not add it to it.

Guys, trestres is talking about fixed costs. That whole R&D that went into the Go. It makes lots of money back on each purchase, but he (and I) wonder if the initial investment was ever made back.

Yes, and the fact that it was a digital download only console killedany chances it had to really succeed. People are not yet ready for that, the only way I think digital download only consoles would work is if they appear at the beginning of a new gen, not at the end like the PSP Go did.

Bets with Conegamer:

Pandora's Tower will have an opening week of less than 37k in Japan. (Won!)
Pandora's Tower will sell less than 100k lifetime in Japan.
Stakes: 1 week of avatar control for each one.

The PSPgO is nothing more than a recycled Sony Mylo.
