When you get passed the really good lighting effect, the rest is pretty average graphics-wise.

The environments are filled with low-res textures.

And the characters still look like mannequin dolls.

looks absolutly stunning. best graphics on 360 and can rival anything on the ps3.

This game deserves my money.I am fully hyped for this upcoming masterpiece...

Going to have to wait on Alan Wake. Getting 2 games nexts month Red Dead Redempion (360) and ModNation Racers. I hope Alan Wake is good.

I don't get all the people saying "amazing, best ever, tops all graphics on 360 etc"..... it looks good but not THAT amazing?!?!?!

I must say the game mechanics dont thrill me but then I thought the same about Dead Space and wound up loving it.

What does impress are the graphics in particular the light engine.

The effect as Alan Wake looks up through the lighthouse through the cast iron staircase is easily the most jaw dropping use of light I have seen in a video game.

Ordered the Limited Edition Version !

It's certain fanboys jumping on games trying to hype it up. Considering the game is very dark the graphics are quite average.
