How much did you end up paying for it?  I assume you bought it on Ebay or Amazon or somewhere else for that matter, if you waited years for it.

Just asking because I was looking at Amazon and it's already upwards of 100 bucks.  I mean I love the game dearly but I wouldn't pay that much for it.  Glad I got it when it released.

I bought it brand new the month it came out. I knew that since it was virtually the only *good* RPG for the 64, I should take care of it, like I did all my other Square and Enix cartridges.

So I paid $50 new for it, and played it for 1 run-through, put it back in the box, and kept it. My N64 died after I finished OB64, which is why I never beat it more than once.

Oh, and my Chaos Frame score was 0. I had no idea what it was until a few days ago.

You could always play again, now.

If you have a Wii, I mean.

As an owner of a mint condition copy of OB64 for the N64, I approve of this thread.

The game was criminally under-purchased when it came out. I waited years for it, and it was worth it.

Oh gotcha.  I guess what you meant you waited years is because you liked the first one and you wanted to play a sequel then?  I'm guessing.

I knew Ogre Battle 64 was coming out prior to its release. Nintendo Power had a few write-ups about the game, and I was a die-hard NP follower back then - I have my name in a few of their issues for challenges and own almost every copy from about issue 20 through issue 120.

Also, I played the heck out of March of the Black Queen, so I knew that a sequel on the 64 would be insane, and I was right

@Khuutra - Or I could spend about 1/10th of the price of a Wii, and re-buy an N64 and play my original copy.

Back from the dead, I'm afraid.

I like ogre battle 64 , I beat this game a least twice but a prefer ogre battle on snes because you can go on water and you have access to more class (example: lich, werewolf , vampire, siren, octopus etc)

You get the Lich, Werewolf, and Vampire in OB64, too.

I mean, just as an example...!

Yeah I know but you cannot have a complete team of wampire or werewolf and you can just have one princess or lich.

Sequel I want the most :

Patapon 3 , Elite beat Agent 2 , ROTK 12 , Mother 4, Legend of legaia      3, Resident Evil outbreak 3.

Favorite Youtube poop        McDonnald                 Morshu

What's the breakdown for town liberation again? I saw it in the other thread and I'm lazy.

Chaotic units can liberate towns with alignments between [this number] and [that number]
Nuetral units can liberate towns with alignments between [this number] and [that number]
Persons of Lordly Caliber can liberate towns with alignments between [this number] and [that number]

Generally try for 1-33, 34-66, and 67-100

Of course the spreadi s more generous than that. A person who is neutral leaning toward Lawful could still liebrate a town in the mid to high 70s, for example.

Yay!

And you suggested avoiding nuetral towns altogether in that other tread IIRC, correct?

If you want a high Chaos Frame, yes. They will be captured every time.

Keep in min by Netral he means, one that isn't red.

Not as in they have a Nuetral alignment.

Like the grey ones.

Basically if it's not owned by the empire, it's like belgium and your dragging them into the war.
