Forums - Sony Discussion - Without a doubt in my mind Kratos would annihilate Link.

Link doesn't carry 20 bottles. Nice try though. There is no pause to swap out weapons in this fight.

There's no limit to the weapons Link carries, and he doesn't actually "swap them out", he carries them all with him constantly.

Do you remember what the Magic Cape does?

doesn't matter what the cape does if kratos is wearing it.

Kratos can't wear it. As soon as Link pulls it out, or activates it, he becomes intangible and invincible. He can't be grabbed. He can't be hit. He can't be hurt by magic. He can't be affected by anything, but he's still able to hit the enemy.

Congrats. By saying "all Links combined" you gave Link a completely unbeatable combination that Kratos has no way of getting past. Fight over.

Use Makes Link invisible
Negates all damage

Doesn't say anything about not getting grabbed. Kratos would do what he does with all his foes. "I like that... yoink... mine now" and either wear it or just tear it bare handed. Fight over link pissed his pants.

Sorry, I htought you said you played LttP.

He's not just invisible, he's intangible. He walks through some substances and walls, and can pass through enemies as if they aren't there. Ergo, he cannot be grabbed.

Um.... It depends on which Link. Link from the 2-D Zelda games? Hell no. Link from Wind Waker, about 50/50. Link from Twilight Princess and Link from OoT? He would wreck Kratos's shit.

As for the "Kratos has killed gods" theroy, he has killed Greek gods. We must take into account the fact thta Greek Gods can be killed, whereas other deities are different. No one can kill the Christian God, as their religion says so. We must assume that, since this is a crossover, the rules from both universes apply. Link could also kill the Greek gods (in theroy) because their laws allow it to be so. The gods of Hyrule, however, cannot be killed. Therefore, Kratos couldn't kill a Hylian god.

We also seem to be forgetting that, if Link had access to the Triforce, he would be granted any wish he wanted. This includes Kratos's death.

We must also consider the fact that Link was chosen specifically by the Gods. He is the "Chosen One", if you will.

Also, the reappearing of him in every Zelda game is proof that, if killed, he would simply reincarnate in 100 years or so.

Sorry but link would be eaten by Kronos. He would be no better than Achilles.

vic - I'm so glad you think sales have more importance. I'm glad you get a chunk of every zelda sold... oh wait thats nintendo not you.

Are you referring to the same Achilles who played a central role in The Iliad? The same Achilles who fought against the Trojans for the beautiful wife of King Menalaus, Helen, who was stolen by the Trojan prince Paris? The same Achilles who quarreled with Agamemnon over the priestess's daughter Chrysis, and demanded that she be returned to quell the rage of the god Apollo? Agamemnon was outraged and, although he returned Chrysis, he took Achilles prize Briesis (spelling?) as his own. The same Achilles who then refused to fight in the war against Troy, because it was foretold that if he did, he would die young, but be remembered for all eternity? The same Achilles that later had armor forged by Hephatus, the crippled son of Zeus? The same Achilles that killed Hector, the hero of the Trojans? That Achilles? If so, I seriously doubt you've read the book.

Achilles was dipped in the river of Styx by his mother (who was a goddess of the sea) Thetis (spelling?) when he was a baby giving him skin stronger than steel. The only part of his body that was left unprotected was heel. Because of this, when Hector's brother Paris shot Achilles in the heel with as arrow, he bled to death. He was basically immortal, though he would have died at a normal age, after all he was only a demi-go.

(When it comes to Greek Mythology, you don't fuck with me. :P I know more about the subject than I do anything else.

You could be referring to some scene in God of War where Kratos kills Achilles, a scene which I have not seen because I have only gotten half-way through the second game.

Then at the same time he can not hit kratos...

@SmoothCriminal:

Kratos never fights Achilles.... which is good for him, of course, because Achilles is the one guy in Greek mythos he couldn't just murder.

@letsdance:

Actually, he can hit enemies while intangible. It's not fair. That's why it's limited by magic. Chateau Romani givesh im infinite magic, though. Like I said, by saying "all Links combined" you've given him an unbeatable combo that Kratos can't top. Fight ove

It's time to settle this once and for all!

Google Fight!

That settles it then, Link wins!

If he can hit the guy he can be grabbed.

http://www.zeldawiki.org/Magic_Cape

pass through enemies and barriers at will

So if he is hitting the guy he isn't willing it. The cape is pulled off and link goes crying to Zelda.

SPOILER if u put it that way Kratos cant win he will just kill himself lol then lose to some kid with BS powers

Sorry but *spoilers*

Kratos killed Gaia, Cronos, Hades, Hermes, Heracles, Helios, Poseidon... I don't think Link is going to be able to do something against him...

....You didn't play LttP?

He can still hit people while standing inside of enemies. Or walls.

He can hit enemies while being impossibel to hit.

Like I said, it's broken and unfair, but there it is. Kratos loses. Period.
