SmoothCriminal said: Um.... It depends on which Link. Link from the 2-D Zelda games? Hell no. Link from Wind Waker, about 50/50. Link from Twilight Princess and Link from OoT? He would wreck Kratos's shit.
As for the "Kratos has killed gods" theroy, he has killed Greek gods. We must take into account the fact thta Greek Gods can be killed, whereas other deities are different. No one can kill the Christian God, as their religion says so. We must assume that, since this is a crossover, the rules from both universes apply. Link could also kill the Greek gods (in theroy) because their laws allow it to be so. The gods of Hyrule, however, cannot be killed. Therefore, Kratos couldn't kill a Hylian god.
We also seem to be forgetting that, if Link had access to the Triforce, he would be granted any wish he wanted. This includes Kratos's death.
We must also consider the fact that Link was chosen specifically by the Gods. He is the "Chosen One", if you will.
Also, the reappearing of him in every Zelda game is proof that, if killed, he would simply reincarnate in 100 years or so. |
Sorry but link would be eaten by Kronos. He would be no better than Achilles.
vic - I'm so glad you think sales have more importance. I'm glad you get a chunk of every zelda sold... oh wait thats nintendo not you.

Are you referring to the same Achilles who played a central role in The Iliad? The same Achilles who fought against the Trojans for the beautiful wife of King Menalaus, Helen, who was stolen by the Trojan prince Paris? The same Achilles who quarreled with Agamemnon over the priestess's daughter Chrysis, and demanded that she be returned to quell the rage of the god Apollo? Agamemnon was outraged and, although he returned Chrysis, he took Achilles prize Briesis (spelling?) as his own. The same Achilles who then refused to fight in the war against Troy, because it was foretold that if he did, he would die young, but be remembered for all eternity? The same Achilles that later had armor forged by Hephatus, the crippled son of Zeus? The same Achilles that killed Hector, the hero of the Trojans? That Achilles? If so, I seriously doubt you've read the book.
Achilles was dipped in the river of Styx by his mother (who was a goddess of the sea) Thetis (spelling?) when he was a baby giving him skin stronger than steel. The only part of his body that was left unprotected was heel. Because of this, when Hector's brother Paris shot Achilles in the heel with as arrow, he bled to death. He was basically immortal, though he would have died at a normal age, after all he was only a demi-go.
(When it comes to Greek Mythology, you don't fuck with me. :P I know more about the subject than I do anything else.
You could be referring to some scene in God of War where Kratos kills Achilles, a scene which I have not seen because I have only gotten half-way through the second game.
