This generation in home console FF XIII became this week the best selling RPG toping Fable II which was holding the lead. The top before FF XIII were: Fable II, Elder Scroll IV Oblivion, Fallout III and all on the Xbox360 (a bit unexpected since Playstation is suppose to be the home of RPG). The numbers are:
FF XIII (PS3): 3.59 M
Fable II: 3.53 M
Elder Scrolls IV Oblivion (Xbox360):
Fallout III (Xbox360):

Passed over the "console" in the OP. So yeah, Final Fantasy all the way.
what's the nintendo game... that would be... Zelda?, then that would be it. If nintendo made a pokemon game that was good... on wii I'm sure it would be the top.
and oblivion if you combine both is 5.03 is still the top... and probably will be the top if you add PC sales but I couldnt find those here or anywhere, but on consoles FFXIII will likely pass that as its at 4.68 if you combine both.
I guess they are talking about Dragon Quest IX and all Pokemon games - thats why he is fine with console, cause its on handhelds.
