Forums - PC Discussion - Direct2Drive spring sale, some very good deals

even though there are many NA-only games, there are some good deals in this promo:

http://www.direct2drive.com/promos/spring-sale/

- DiRT 2 for $9.99
- STALKER: Clear Sky for $4.95 (US and Canada)
- King's Bounty: Armored Princess for $8.95
- Elven Legacy complete (with 3 exp. packs) for $19.95
- Rollecoaster Tycoon 2 with exp. pack for $4.95 (the best RCT IMO,
- Gun for $9.95 (NA Only)

and more.

next week there'll be more deals

Fallout 3, DiRT 2, KB:AP, and NWN2 Gold are the standout deals, methinks. Call of Cthulhu and Stalker Clear Sky are both good buys for five bucks, but read the reviews first because they're heavily flawed titles. Everything else ranges from "meh" to "avoid at all costs."

"'Casual games' are something the 'Game Industry' invented to explain away the Wii success instead of actually listening or looking at what Nintendo did. There is no 'casual strategy' from Nintendo. 'Accessible strategy', yes, but ‘casual gamers’ is just the 'Game Industry''s polite way of saying what they feel: 'retarded gamers'."

Whoa...seriously it's hard to get deals like that on a console. Makes me regret I got some of those games so early in its lifecycle.

bumping, if there's a good soul out there willing to gift me GTA IV, I can buy you something in Steam or even D2D (if it's not country restricted to me) for the same (or similar) price, like Trine + Deus Ex Collection, or something like that.

I already don't this gen... even console games come down to 15£ withing 4 months of release... and since games are announced 10 years in advance now, what's an extra 4 months? (don't have enough time anyways...)
