For me, it was the Wii version of Sonic Unleashed. The controls were so loose that the final levels were rage inducing for me.

Pixel Art can be fun.

Super Robot Taisen OG Saga: boring gameplay and the dialogue stops being funny after boob joke #100

Star Ocean IV: The Last Hope: Awful story, characters, voice acting, dungeon designs, pretty much everything minus the battle system.

Final Fantasy X-2: terrible dialogue

Kingdom Hearts Re-Chain of Memories: laughable dialogue, annoying battle system. The whole KH story is a convoluted mess.

Crysis. Spent ALOT of money to play this game. Hated the single player and the multiplayer.

Dead Rising. Bought this game when it was really cheap to see what the hype was about. I played for 2 hours and just had to stop. The game seemingly had no point, awful controls, and made me insane due to my insatiable desire to kill and do everything. I just had to stop or I would have gone mad.

Excite Truck was another game I just had to stop. The bad controls, pointlessness to the game, and lack of inspiration kinda just led me off. After a few races, there was really no point for me to go back and finish the rest of the core experience. Was enough to keep me from really ever touching the game again.

I'm sure there is a few others but those are the main ones for this generation. Lots more though for last generation and generations before it. Main one out of those was Wipeout on the N64 which was easily the worst game I've ever bought haha.

Killzone 2 and MGS4

Gears would have been there, but I had a bit of fun with the co-op campaign >:]

Edit: Thanks to Zucas I remembered Dead Rising. which I hated

Need for speed underground 2 for the nintendo DS. I bought it online at walmart 5 years ago. I couldnt beat it, it was so awful. The controls were so clunky; I sold it. I regret buying it, but I don't regret selling it.

Yea agree on Killzone 2.  First couple of levels and had to stop haha.  Gears 1 was a game that I wish I wouldn't have gone all the way through, but for the sake of argument I went through the rest of the game just so I had a full argument of why it wasn't what it was hyped up to be.  Guess I should do the same for KZ2 to further legitimize my argument.

It's really times like that, that I feel bad for some reviewers who have to do it on a daily basis: beat a game they don't like just so they can put out the review.  It's quite a dreadful experience.  Or I guess even worse with the case of those 2 games, being hyped for a couple of games to be dramatically disappointed.

Games I bought and did not finish because they just sucked, was Prey, Quake 4 , Prototype, Splinter cell Double agent, compared to other splinter cells, it sucked, I played Brutal Legend at a friends house and my GOD that game BLU, that game is not worth a buck, that is about all I can think of right this minute,

To the few that named Killzone 2, WOW what a surprise , KZ is about the best FPS out, but I guess you can't please everyone.

Golden Axe for the PS3, I got it at a black friday sale last year (don't remember the price but was less than 5 bucks) and oh boy what a terrible piece of game. The action is repetitive, the music is nothing but a loop of generic "barbaric" sounds, the combat system doesn't work properly, the beasts are worthless, the story bland and the replay value none. Get bored of it after a couple of hours and haven't touch it since then.
