THat's simply not true. A lot of multiplatform games, even when maxed out on PC, still look naff, such as Call of Duty MW2 etc. Plus clearly you've never played K2 if you think HL2 and Far Cry look better than it.

You are right to say that no game on the consoles will beat Crysis and Stalker (Clear Skies, not Shadow), but you seemed to have a slightly warped idea that leads me to believe you've never played the likes of God of War 3 or Uncharted 2 on the PS3 in HD.

Oh please, posting CRYSIS ON ULTRA HIGH modded with the lighting at an ultra level..*shows me you yourself might have never played crysis.. who not post screens from the game yourself instead of using ULTRA HIGH footage on youtube..*

And you posted a Crysis vid, where the uploader admitted that he converted the video with Windows Movie Maker.....

Actually Modern Warfare 2 is one of the few multiplat games, where the PC version really looks far better than the console version. I wouldn't say better than Killzone 2, but comparable ? Yes at least !

The Far Cry and especially the HL2 part of waron's comment is obviously not correct (Apart from resolution and AA, the 360 version of the Orange box is even superior than the PC version, because it runs on the updated Source engine.)

If you count the Cinematic Mod for HL2, then yes it looks better than Killzone 2 ^^

Probably because console versions run on sub HD.

Definitely agree with this. There are a few games (Crysis and clear skies being the obvious ones that come to mind) that are leaps and bounds ahead of anything else out there. However, coming up behind those are the big ps3 exclusives - I just dont think that anything will be closing that gap this generation.

KZ2 looks WAYYY better than every screen in that thread, no matter what anyone says.

Seems like the only one who won't admit it is you. I personally know people who own both games and they think Crysis is the best looking game ever made.

I never said the PS3 was a generation ahead of anything.. I said THOSE GAMES LOOK A GENERATION AHEAD OF ANYTHING RELEASED ON XBOX 360 SO FAR.. and I cannot be proven wrong..

considering the fact the textures in RE5 are absolutely horrid, that already makes me doubt your credibility.

So what you are telling me is that those PS3 games make Gears of War 2 look like an original Xbox game? You might want to go see the eye doctor soon.

I am informed, and I know for a fact Those 3 ps3 games are a level beyond anything on console right now..

lol i love threads like this.  Sorry kids KZ2 is garbage that just has alot of filters and post render improvements, while crysis is raw imagery.

How old are you? And like I said get to the eye doctor's office right away. Almost everyone who has posted in here owns a PS3 and a PC. Not just PC gamers in here. Its just PS3 owners who recognize the truth that Crysis looks better. Keep saying it doesn't thats fine. Thats YOUR opinion. But 99.9% of everyone else thinks Crysis looks better. Looks like you're by yourself on this one.

I looked at your profile. You are 17 years old. Sorry but you aren't informed in anything. You live in your bubble of your high school world. Let me know when you get out into the real world and experience something. BTW I'm 29 years old, currently majoring in Computer Graphics Technology specializing in 3D and  video game design. I think I would be a little more informed than you. Especially since you are only old enough to be a gamer for about the past 2 generations. I've been gaming since Atari. You lose game over kid.
