lol...IGN gives it 9.3/10 and you say no thinks. Hmm...whats your xbox live id?

The whole package may be a 9.3, but if he doesn't use mp, it's much less for him considering the review.

I personally cancelled my SC preorder after the boring demo... But it seems odd to read 1 review which scores the game at 9.3 and to take the game length they state as final word and cancel preorder.

I smell a troll in hiding...

that i agree.

all thefanboys out there suck, doesn't matter who they are.

we first generation gamers play games for fun, not like new generation who only know how to be fanboy to this and that.

if you're not a MP gamer, yeah, worth a rent, $60+ is a waste for a 5 hrs game.

once you complete it, what's to do? play again? then after your 2nd playthrough, what to do?

i might buy it once someone sell their copy on ebay for like $30 less.

Its not on topic but its funny, after reading the review I remark something. The points are as follow:

Presentation 9
Graphics 8.5
Sound 9
Gameplay 9
Lasting appeal 8
Overall 9.3/10 (not an average)

I understand the fact that the overall is not an average but how can it be higher than the single best score? Video game review on the internet are getting ridiculous. The game maybe deserve 9.3 out of 10 but then the reviewer should at least select a 9.3 or higher for one of his evaluation criteria. Not being an average doesnt mean the overall can surpass every evaluation criterias lol.

IGN can't even solve their own math problem.

Why? If they made a game that failed to get you to buy it why waste money and hard drive space on dlc for something you are going to play for acouple of days. Here is a thought, and it might sound blaphemous, but we ar intelligent ratiional people so hear  me outl

You do not have to support every game from every company that you play on every system you own and pay full prie every time. you should support companies that make games you enjoy. But supporting a company that offers a service you use, such as renting, is still voting with more money and contributing to gaming overall. If you enjoy your rental, maybe you will pick it up later after a price drop. If you did not enjoy your rental enough to consider buying it, then they did not make a game good enough to earn your money. Why funnel money to someone who made a product you didn't enjoy that much?

maybe the game is greater than the sum of its parts?

Also, I think IGN use a holistic judgment when rating the overall score.

I've yet to see someone wondering about God of War 3's average being a 9.2 and the game getting a 9.5
But I guess this is a cheap little talk.
Bashing Splinter Cell in every possible way is what matters...

No one is talking about an average, IGN does not do averages in their score...it's about no inidivula score is not being more han 9 and yet the final over all score is 9.3

GOW3 has two 9.5's and the final is 9.3

I suggest you read the posts well before addressing 'cheap talk'

And again, it's IGN! who cares? Their reviews suck anyways

Dude, are you listening to yourself?

IGN does not do averages (true) but you STILL complain about the bloody average.

See why I was talking about cheap talk?
