So vesperia PS3 has already sold 360k+? That's nice for a year old port and with a "the best" release it can maybe match Symphonia's PS2 400k sales.

yup.. but no MGS4 the Best is released.. so MGS4 original numbers are going to stay at 700k.. but i think The best may do over 150 - 200k.. So overall MGS is going to sell like 900k.. which is i think quite high for the series, maybe the highest.

It was released last fall, just before the slim release.

Vesperia PS3 really benefitted from perfect timing, coming out just in time to ride the rocketing slimomentum.  Had it released 2-3 months or earlier, or 2-3 months later, it probably would've moved dramatically less.  I also think a solid case can be made for "double dipping" based off additional content and game quality driven by word of mouth.  I don't think those 210k 360 purchases would've been added on top had the game been exclusive to PS3 (most Tales fans bought both already), and indeed I think Star Ocean 4 shows more what you can expect when the 360 audience doesn't double dip.

Also, Symphonia PS2 sold 440k when you add in it's own BEST release.  Add in the GC version and it's 750k.

You're probably thinking of Ryu Ga Gotuku 3. I believe the best version for that came out right around the new year.
