Also, Japan tends to not buy any western game, and that's mostly what Sony has as of now. Wait until The Last Guardian and Gran Turismo 5.

Yeah noticed that too.

Then I thought they maybe don't count bundles, but they do.

Maybe, just maybe they count GT5P sales and GT5P Spec 3 sales separately. AFAIR Spec 3 got a retail launch in Japan.

Famitsu doesn't count bundling (I think) and GT5: P has 2 versions



These numbers don't include 'The Best' re-releases either.

So, MGS4 and Yakuza are both at least ~90-100k higher than the number presented here.
