Developer do establish certain relationships with certain console makers, that mean their game will get locked into one console or another, unless a lot of money is thrown around. My wish is that people would understand and accept this, rather than whine about it, and call the developers "stupid" or imply that they are dumb. There are feelings of entitlement individuals seem to have when they are loyal to only one console, in that they get upset at a game going multiconsole (Final Fantasy 13) or complain when a certain game doesn't make a jump to their console (Mass Effect, Gears, or Metal Gear Solid 4).
According to partisan logic, Final Fantasy XIII won't sell as well is did, or be all it can be, because it is on the 360 also. Conversely, I am told that Gears of War would do better salewise if it were a system exclusive... and not get marketed by Microsoft.
