Forums - Sony Discussion - Portal 2 coming to the PS3. (Picture Evidence)

Even though I'll never play a Valve game on a platform different than PC, I am happy for people who only own a ps3 as they won't be missing out on this sure-to-be-awesome game.

imo, don't believe it till you have a copy of the game in your system.

PS One/2/p/3slim/Vita owner. I survived the Apocalyps3/Collaps3 and all I got was this lousy signature.

Well, well Valve dearest. What was that again about PS3 being a shitty system whose architecture made no sense at all?

I put it to you that it's possible for them to still think that but be willing to make the game regardless because they think it might earn them some greens.

Touché sir!

It must be a very unconfortable creation process then, if they're feeling somewhat forced to cope with it for "ze moniez" sake.

It's a necessary evil me thinks.

It should so be named the Wii Beater. It would make it so much more ironic when it also only gets shovelware.

OT:
I don't think that they are talking about a Valve port. It is very possible that they just outsource the porting part to someone else, like they have done before. Not that it matters, anyone who has a 5 year old PC owes it to themselves to play it on the PC anywho.

Color me unsurprised, look for one a couple months from now talking about Splinter Cell: Conviction as well.

Well, Sony did say a few months ago that no third party exclusive is really that safe.

Some people will be removing this game from their signatures then.

did they just called Move a wii-beater? lmao with the fact that it has no IR and all the games have huge ass auto aim i doubt that. Socom 4 had auto aim on the whole god damn screen.

if they intended to compete with wii in any genre with those kind of precision(or complete lack of it to be fair), lag and price i can only say that they failed before even showing it at last year E3 - especially if their whole strategy is to just blatantly copy title already released on the wii but with HD visuals.

Portal might be ported by people working for Valve since they hired some ps3 coders few months ago. regardles Left 4 Dead series will stay on 360 simply because it's more online friendly platform.

That kinda occurred to me as well.  The move could probably be excellent at translating movement, it might be horrible at using it to aim.  At least the wii was able to figure out where you're aiming with the IR sensor and emitter but looking down the barrel of a gun and seeing a glowing orb??

Is it possible for a PS magazine to feature a game from a different platform?
