Yeah I'm sure I read an article somewhere about Valve doing a U-Turn and saying they'll be developing for the PS3 now it's got sales.

No suprise about portal 2, but left 4 dead1/2 would be awesome, might even happen if Valve truly is developing for PS3 rather than shipping titles out to EA.

Still don't believe this. It's probably a 1 page article about the game or an interview asking Valve if they will make it for PS3. When you think about it, this would be a bigger surprise then just a Fear 3 reveal and the Mag would run with that rather then a Fear 3 page.

As well, isn' t this the same Mag that said EA was porting Left 4 Dead back in 08?

I put it to you that it's possible for them to still think that but be willing to make the game regardless because they think it might earn them some greens.
