Will the stupidity of the buyers ever stop to amaze me? 15 bucks for 3 new maps? You can have 2 great XBLA games for that price...

You fail to understand this is additional content for a game they already love and they'll continue to spend many hours on.

The best selling XBLA arcade game is also a multiplayer war shooter.

MW2 is my most played game, I'll probably play these maps for hours. I mean it's only ten euro, the same price as a two hour movie in the cinema, the same price as two drinks in a bar

I'm probably gonna play these for more than 2 hours and i'll probably enjoy it in the long run more than a couple of drinks, so big deal maybe it should be cheaper but I've spent my money on worse things

2.5 people were willing to be riped off, sad day for gaming indeed

BF 1943 is not the best selling XBLA game yet. Castle Crashers sold more.

Although BF 1943 probably made more revenue.

Why do people here care so much about people spending their own money on something they enjoy. Let people do whatever they want to and stop judging them.

So we're not allowed to troll consoles (well, half the time), but we're allowed to freely troll games? No one is dumb for buying this map pack. Millions of people (like me) bought this game but never owned Call of Duty 4, and maps like Crash and Overgrown are entirely new to us. If I bought this map pack, I'd be buying 5 new maps, and the value wouldn't be bad at all. Plus, considering people are willing to pay full price for shitty games (across all systems), 15 bucks is really not a lot of money. Well, unless you're a teenager (which I guess a lot of people are).

maybe now they can actually pay back infinityward for the work they did.

Well BF1943 sold a million in under a year. I'm not sure sure if Castle Crashers has sold a million.

You and Monty have the best responses in the whole thread, seriously.

Hi, this is Vince with Shamwow.

For hardcore players of MW2, I don't see the price being outrageous. But as a "casual" player (I still have levelled all the way through first prestige and play once a week or so) I'd likely have bought them for $10. I just hope they aren't setting a new price point for future map packs, like for Reach. However, as a heavy Halo player, I have no issue whatsoever paying $10 for three maps, whether new or remade, so the $15 for 5 doesn't bother me too much - again, IF MW2 is "your game".

The nice thing about large sales of the maps makes their integration into playlists more assured. In H3, you still rarely get some of the DLC maps in the non-required hoppers, even when they CAN appear when all parties own them. The maps are a better deal when you get to use them more often in general play.

Can't comment on the quality of the maps as a I haven't played them.

Can't we all just get along and play our games in peace?
