since when sales come in and say it's like 250k, naysayers will say it bombed and supporters will be it's a success albeit not a runaway hit.
chances are it's somewhere in between. there's nothing like Wii Sports, and there won't ever be something like Wii Sports ever again.

one basic reason: gamers might not be interested but the group of people actually interested, that are much more than gamers will make this a hit!! it ight be like wii sports.....

Lets give Galaxy some time - it should sell well over the holidays, and may still reach 750k-1m by the end of the year.
WiiFit is an easy HIT. Just like WiiSports, it will still be selling in 12 months time. I'm guessing 2m sales in first 12 months in Japan, and maybe 500k by the end of the year.

Oh come on Shams you are asking people who posted biasedly to think. That's probably out of their league anyways haha.
Most people don't seem to understand that WiiSports made Wii the best selling console ever and the most hyped too at that. WiiFit will follow the path of Wii Sports, Wii Play, Big Brain Academy and Brain Training. These games sell forever!

This thread cracks me up. A few short months ago Wii Fit was nothing more than vapor for the public at large. Nobody knew what the product was about or even if it was for real.
Now the discussion has changed to whether it will sell hundreds of thousands or millions. Even if it meets the lower end of expectations, it would still be more successful than what I expected a few short months ago.
