Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Iwata Asks: Monster Hunter 3

Hey people! I can't find the Munter Hunter Tri Bundle in Gamestop...do they just stopped selling it???

Around the Network

I never knew that they designed the pro controller with the help of the Monster Hunter team, pretty interesting stuff.

Iwata asks is always good! Thanks for the link.

I thought it was pretty interesting as well.
Because of MH3, Zelda devs were spurred on even more improve the graphics they already had in place.

This was my favorite part:
Iwata:
"I could really sense your seriousness. We were acutely aware of how enthusiastically you were making Tri, so we wanted it to go well no matter the cost. If there was a reason it wasn’t going well, we wanted to do whatever we could to help. I thought it would be too bad if there were gamers who couldn’t get into Tri just because they couldn’t get used to the controller. I’m just gonna go ahead and say it (laughs), but we even discussed where the best place for the analogue sticks would be."

Leatherhat on July 6th, 2012 3pm. Vita sales:"3 mil for COD 2 mil for AC. Maybe more. "  thehusbo on July 6th, 2012 5pm. Vita sales:"5 mil for COD 2.2 mil for AC."

My mind kept running into a wall while reading the second page of the interview.

They talk about not having to worry about -hunting- the animals, because if you don't want to, you can always go fishing instead.

Um...fishing...you fish for animals right? Fishing is a type of hunting?

Soooo........

*mind keeps banging into a wall*

This might be the other type of fishing, where the aim is not so much to catch anything, but to get away from The Wife.

Hahah nice Gnac :)

This was an excellent read and shows N really recognizing the work put into this game and helping it out in any way possible.

I love Iwata ask you really do get some insight into how a game was made and what kind of thinking was going on during the process. Although I myself will probably not be getting this game I bet for those who enjoy this type of thing it will be a dam good game, that Capcom really put itself into.

Microsoft and Sony should let the MH team take a crack at their pads next. CCPro is sublime, pretty easily my favorite (non-Saturn/SNES) pad ever.

Iwata's ask are always a good reading ...
