i have never ever played gran turismo game i have gt5 prologue i tried it once but i dont like it i have forza 3 as well but i didnot played it regularly but because of lots of discussions or threads make me think that might be gran turismo is a best racing game according to gamers all over the world what is special stuff in gran turismo that every body talks about gran turismo what feature u like in the game.

Pfft, not even close. I bought GT3 on my PS2 thinking it would be gorgeous, fun and fast and wild!

It was gorgeous but not in a good, creative way... but all other things were missing. it was not fun, it was boring (in fact, it's the most boring game I've ever played). It was not fast, even with the top cars running at 300km/h. And it was not wild - driving my car at 20km/h (with traffic) to work looks much more wild than racing a rally course in GT.

All in all... it's a game that it's not really a game, imo. It's more like Flight Simulator... sooooo muuuuch fuuuun....NOT.

Best racer?? Mario Kart, Rumble Racing, MotorToon Racing, F-ZERO... anything that's more creative than "ultra realistic".

Fairly easy to say since GT3 Gran Turismo is 2nd best, not by sales by definately by realism and review scores.

GT4 Meta lower than Forza 1. Forza 1 also had a better physics system.

Forza 2 meta higher than GT5P and FM2 had 360 hertz physics while GT5P could only manage 120 hertz.

FM3 has released with another great acclaim. Keeping 360 hertz whilst managing to stay 60 FPS and drastically improving detail. If GT5 is not 360 hertz, there is no contest for realism.

mario kart is the one of the worst "racing" games out their, if it is even a racing game. Yes you race in it but i think that it would be better to call it a "kart" game. It's a great and very fun game i love it. It doesn't have real cars, the karts don't look real, and the physics don't have anything to do with driving. That is why it ain't a racing game, it's a kart game, or more of an arcade racing game.

The top two racing games out their are forza and gran turismo. Personally i find gran turismo to be better, the physics are better, the cars feel better, and i personally enjoy the overall feeling of the game.

GT is the best driving 'simulator' ever...nothing can touch it and that is why it's recognized around the world so much

for just for fun race game, NFS hot pursuit 2 + Burnout is better imo

You may think it's insignificant, but the most important part of making a realistic simulator is how many times you update the physics to your input. GT4 and GT5P have both had much less than FM1,2 and 3. FM2 for example had 360 hertz physics against GT5P 120 hertz physics. Hell even FM1 had 80 hertz. This makes a difference of feeling the roads bumps within 8 metres to not feeling them.
