I'm going to put it down to the video quality for now but I find the track-side detail disappointing and it stands out all the more because the cars look so good.

About Alan Wake then: Game looks amazing, best 3rd person game to date (?)... but 5 years in the making good? maybe not so much

If games take long to produce means they wiill suck? I dont think thats the case. As long as we get quality over time, i guess its better to wait and make game as it is supposed to be, than get a semi-completed one.

I love how people comment on the settings like if it was more important to have 3D tree rather than amazing model or more cars on race ...

I agree, the cars are stunning but that track was bordering on hideous in places, I mean flat edges on curbs, seriously?  Perhaps its an old build though so we'll have to wait and see. 

@Jaaau - Actually Dirt2 on PC looks better than this but then again you would expect that I guess.
