Forums - Nintendo Discussion - I need a list of must-have Wii and DS Games!

Actually my list is only DS stuff. But you might want to check th VC listings somewhere to see if they have the Bonds remakes. I'm sorry didn't mean to get your hopes up. But I seem to remember a James Bond title FPS for the DS it was a launch or early release title.

Boycotting the following:

1. Yoshi: He ate my car and spit out a toaster.

2. Igglybuff: Totally false advertisement. You can have as many as you like they don't buff nothing.

3. the Terms Hardcore/Softcore... We're talking Video Games. Not Porn.

4. The term Casual as relates to Gamers: We make them sound like outsider's that happen to play games.  If that were the case they'd own a PS3.

5. Donuts.... Beacause I drink Beer...... and the biggest fan of Donuts hates Beer.

6. Boycotts: Their so lame.

Metacritic is always a good place to start without knowing your tastes...

@jlaruo

Sorry if your going to bring review sites into the mix I pick IGN as my source. Again I wanted know what Wii owners recommend me to play not reviewers.

Without more info of what you like it's hard to say... I don't agree with all the review rankings, but most of the time my opinion is within +/- 5 points, and rarely more than +/- 10 points.  I generally like IGN best as a single source of reviews, but find the weighted averages of metacritic tend to match my opinion better that IGN's scores.

In terms of wii, I think SMG is a over rated, but still a good game. I also think Zack and Wiki is over rated, but the budget price makes up for most of that. RE4 is great (espeically if you haven't played it on another console yet), Metroid Prime 3 is good. Zelda is good too. Dragon Blade is under rated (deserves more than a 51, but not a lot more),

Wario Ware (once you unlock multiplayer), and Raving rabbids are good multiplayer games.

Dude, I generally play all genres...I'm not bias to none. Its just that if a game doesn't hold my interest then I will just trade it in or exchange it for another one.

Just curious: For you guys recommending MoH:Heroes 2, have you played the game or just going by review scores/hype?

Wii:

Super Mario Galaxy

The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess

(Yes, those are the only two MUST HAVES but they are AMAZING, best games this generation)

DS:

New Super Mario Bros.
Pokemon Diamond/Pearl
Animal Crossing: Wild World
Nintendogs
The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass
Brain Age
Brain Age 2
Super Mario 64 DS
Clubhouse Games
Yoshi's Island DS
Kirby: Squeak Squad
Kirby: Canvas Curse
Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow
Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin
Electroplankton
Tetris DS
Mario Kart DS

Wait, I don't understand the first post. Why did Montana create a thread and then say in the first post:

" Holy crap this is dumb.

No one knows what you like!"
