Forums - Microsoft Discussion - Peter Molyneux #44 on Time 100 list

"April 3, 2010 - Time has posted its 2010 Top 100 Poll with 200 nominees awaiting your vote. Amongst other leaders, visionaries, artists and icons -- including the likes of Barack Obama, John Stewart and J.J. Abrams -- are a few candidates known for their contributions to videogames.

Peter Molyneux, the Creative Director for Microsoft Europe, is listed for his work with Project Natal and Milo and Kate (which is coming out this year according to Time). Also making the list as a single nominee are the co-creators of Penny Arcade, Jerry Holkins and Mike Krahulik.

according to time Magazine:

"Molyneux's Lionhead Studios is set to turn the gaming world on its head this year with Microsoft's Project Natal and Milo and Kate, which, if Molyneux is to be believed, will be to interactive video games what Avatar was to 3-D movies."

strange choice, I voted for the Lost creators!!!

so if im going to announce my time machine, i'll get to be on that list? AWESOME!

and what i also noticed Neil Gaiman is on there (the guy who made my avatar's comic) while i'm obviously a huge fan , he didn't do anything in 2010 , Coraline was last year, nor did i remember him announcing anything for 2010.

Bristol Palin at 84? Fucking hell.

Oh, and Cheryl Cole should be top 20. She practically runs the UK at the minute, on the cover of every paper and homepage of every gossip site.

Glad Sandra Bullock made top ten!

here is what TIME's authors were thinking.

"okay Lady Gaga's new song is very popular lets make her number one! , now lets add someone who actually did something great in 2010, now lets add hillary clinton over barrack obama because everyone hates her and we want hits!, ahh avatar was good lets add james cameron!.... you know what? SCREW THIS lets google random fucking people!"
