Forums - Gaming Discussion - Assassins creed ending impressions (spoilers)

Anyone else will satisfied with the ending to AC, def a sequal coming up.

Im curious about the writing on the wall, i find out who wrote it from the one guys emails. Supposedly its from patient 16 who went completely mad from the machine.

What could it all mean?

That and did you guys all understand the story completely? Im still a little lost on the whole betrayal and modern day assassins and templar deal

With regard to Call of Duty 4 having an ultra short single player campaign, I guess it may well have been due to the size limitations of DVD on the XBox 360, one of various limitations multi-platform game designers will have to take into consideration-Mike B

Game trailers-Halo 3 only dissapointed the people who wanted to be dissapointed.

Bet with Harvey Birdman that Lost Odyssey will sell more then Blue dragon did.

All all i know is I'm satisfied. I've actually had to quit and come back through the same scene at the end 3 times and watched the credits twice and I don't know how to get piece of eden in my memory block. It says I completed the game and i got the achievement for watching the credits, is there anything else I have to do to completely finish?!?!

Hi, this is Vince with Shamwow.

Did anyone of you guys pick up a pen in the doctors office when he was mad?
My friend picked it up but I didn't when I was playing it, apparently you can read their e-mails with it.

I missed the patient 16 part which email was that in? It looked like the writing was done by several different prisoners to me because of all the different languages.

I wonder if the sequal will transition into a modern setting with the goal being to deny the Templars all the other pices of eden? I'm not sure what other memories they would need from you once they have the map. Plus you have eagles vision at the end.

I guess if they do more Animus stuff they could detail what happened to the Assassins after killing Musyef. I would not be suprised if Altiair took the map from the Pice of Eden and set out to find and destroy all the other pices. Good luck at getting to North and South America in the time of the Crusades though.
Maybe they will do the modern day thing in the 3rd game.

Although I liked the game overall I was not thriled with the ending. I hate this whole tendency the industry seems to have of not completly telling a story till after the credits roll. Plus finding the writing was not obvious enough.

The reason the game ends with you traped in the room is so you can get back in the animus and free roam, explore, complete achevements right? I kinda rushed through the last 2 Assassinations so I could get started on Mass Effect.

weird, i dont think you can. At the end just lets you do what you want, go through emails or play all your episodes again, nice feature

Its in one of his deleted emails, i cant remember if it specifies if it was all patient 16, but it does say that the writing is from former patients.

I cant wait for the sequal thats all i know. Yea the cliffhangers are not fun, but when the second game comes out you always  look back and glad they did it, i was with halo 2 and other games.

The writing on the wall gave some very very good clues and makes you wonder.

I couldnt see all the writing but i saw these two phrases

"We are all books containing thousands of pages and within each of them lies an irreparable truth."

and another one says something about hunger and where it lies.

Theres others but i couldnt read them.

...Wasn't Assassain's Creed supposed to be a game in the middle ages about the Crusades?

I understand that it totally destroys that....But why?

Back from the dead, I'm afraid.
