What I said was sarcasm, sorry if most of you didn't notice. Guess I didn't really leave a clue either. I'm bad at that.

I see the general consensus is that GT5 on a technical level is below some other games like GOW3, UC2, KZ2 and AW. Well i say this to you lot. 1080p, 60fps. 400,000 polygon cars, dynamic damage, and weather. On a technical level i say this BEATS anything so far, nothing else is 1080p, let alone running at 60fps. All these games above are 30fps (not sure bout AW).

I think the old line that becuase its a racing game its easy to have great graphics is a cop out, no other racing game looks even close to GT5. So i think that statement should be changed to "because its GT it's easy to have great gfx" ;)

You said DIRT 2 and GRID will probably look as good as GT5, when GRID looks like a last gen PS2 game next to GT5 prologue, and DIRT 2 looks like shit next to motorstorm which also looks like a wii game next to GT *no pun intended*

Furthermore I didn't say DiRT 2 looks as good as GT5 and I was never talking about the first GRID in my post.

I said GRID 2 might look just as good as GT5, in case Codemasters will keep improving their engine of course. (Or maybe even make a new one soon....)

The Problem with Grid and Dirt is that they both aren't looking super realistic like GT5 or FM3!

actually you are wrong. its all about lighting, and realistic reflection and refraction is difficult to do.
