12 million PSP/PSP2.. they wont be predicting below 10m PSP until or unless they plan to leave the handheld bzness altogether. :$

17 million PS3s. I'm predicting another price drop around July but that might be stupid...

I dunno about PS2s though, I never really looked at last years so I have no idea.

I think they will go for 15 million -shipped- PS3s, a goal they should acheive with certain ease since they will be releasing a mass-market appealing PS3 Move Bundle (plus the appropiate marketing efforts to go along with that), add to that the STRONG sales and demand the system already has this year, and Gran Turismo 5 to top it all this fall.

luagh out loud i was the 1st to say this a couple of weeks ago except i say near 3 by end of 2010 so by next march i think it will be 3m if not passed it will make a thread bout it when the holidays come hope to see u in it

OP 15M PS3 shipped seems about right maybe even 16M

Any PSP prediction over 7 million and we can be 100% sure that there'll be a PSP price drop.

looks like i'm going to be the lone guy who doesn't think the ps3 is going to end-up up YoY, i think 13M is the ceiling but probably just shy of that.

I think I'm being pretty conservative on these numbers.

So Socom is still a major franchise for Sony. Not their biggestest.

Also Socom's decline could be due to the massive library of games on the PS2 as the series went on.
Confrontation was a terrible game in it's first 2 to 3 months.

This gen is tricky, you never know.

Sony didn't market Socom : Confrontation well...
Since Socom 4 is a Move launch title it should sell 2 mil LTD at least.
If Sony advertises Move and Socom 4 well.
