That looks pretty good, but imho I think even Uncharted 1 has that beat, well as far as comparing bricks goes haha. But then again, I'm not a genius with video game graphics lingo like "textures", "aliasing", and "light tearing". I just know what i think looks good, and the bricks in U1-where u climb the Castle and end up rapelling off the wall and breaking in thru the window- made my jaw drop bc how realistic they looked: the detail-->the lighting/reflection, the moss, the bricks themselves, etc. Anyways, kind of just a joke but serious at the same time. One of the first scenes that made me realize just how good U1's graphics were.
Well Gears still looks better, but that doesn't make me like the game compared with Alan wake

EW WTF
those are not impressive textures..
@CGI
Gears 2's textures are a bit iffy imo.. they aren't as impressive as UNCHARTED 1's which I believe has textures better than those seen in U2.
can't find the pic. this pic isn't nearly as good or even that similar, but kinda shows how realistic some of their walls/structures look (pillar on right side of screen)...
i think it looks good at least.
I think Alan Wake looks better. I think that I am going to enjoy Alan Wake more than I did Gears of War 2 too because it appears to be trying something different. I also like how the developers are focusing on telling a great story. I already have my special edition pre ordered.
Those 2 games are kinda different and Alan Wake has been in the making for like, 5 years? Gears is about blood, action, big doods with guns and chainsaws, Epic did those parts right. Alan Wake is supposed to be Survival Horror, which I think they are doing just fine as well. Comparing God of War 3 or UC games to Alan Wake in a texture sense isn't fair btw, 360 is limited by space whereas the PS3 doesn't suffer as much from such limitations, something would be really wrong if those games had shittier textures or details.
Alan Wake easy. And yeah, this is a troll thread.
Imagine not having GamePass on your console...
