Bravo God of War, Bravo.
I have finished God of War and God of War 2 and I now know the truth-- Kratos is an XTREME to the max fantastic character.
Before, I had only seen silly little animated gifs of Kratos doing brutal things and I thought he made them boring and now I must say he made those brutal things fantastic and never boring.
I never got tired of watching Kratos endlessly thrusting his blades into the minotaurs in God of War and was sad when the game ended because I wasn't able to stab a sword in their throat anymore. I was a sad twesterm. Luckily God of War 2 used the exact same attack and it was just a stroke of brilliance!
He's just so brutal and such a man that if I could have a baby I'm sure I would have been impregnated by his manliness.
And then Kratos' story of vengeance!
Oh. My. Gaaawd.
So brilliant, I have never seen such a wonderfully crafted tale. Before I had likened Kratos to a Mario that didn't know he was a joke but, again, I was wrong. His story of vengeance is beautifully crafted with all fantastic characters.
I think I nearly cried when Kratos blindly killed his family and then at the end of God of War had to hug them to keep them alive, it was just so touching. And then when Kratos got bored and decided to totally bring it and show the world who was boss. AwSoMe!!!!!!
Too bad shitty old Zeus had to ruin his fun and too bad Zeus didn't know that Kratos was a revenge driven badass.
I don't think I have ever seen a story of revenge as finely crafted as this and that expertly crafted deep motivation has cemented Kratos as one of the most fantastic characters of all time.
He doesn't need any inner turmoil, character change, or moral decisions, he just needs to jump in and kick some ass.
