Which device would sell the most? (Wii VS, PS Move, MS Natal)

Wii Vitality Sensor 46 25.14%

PS Move 39 21.31%

MS Natal 31 16.94%

All 3 will bomb 12 6.56%

Wii Balance Board > All 3 combined 55 30.05%

Total:183

Pachter's quote "We can agree to disagree about the Wii Vitality Sensor.  It looks tremendously stupid to me, but I'm sure I'm not the target market. " from this thread got me thinking.

What would be everyone's expectation of the three addons from the three home console makers? Will any of them become a sensation like Wii Balance Board?

I know we don't know much about NATAL games or how Wii Vitality Sensor would be incoporated and we only saw some brief demos of PS Move. However, it would be interesting to know what everyone's expectation right now based on the current "buzz". I'll probably make another poll after E3 when we have more information on all 3 devices and see if the expectation changes.

As for the poll, my choice would be Wii Balance Board > All 3 Combined. The price of Move and Natal kind of scare me and I think it would limit the market adoption. Wii Vitality Sensor probably won't have a price issue since it can just be bundled with a game designed specifically for it. However, It might turn out to be closer to Wii Music/Animal Crossing: City Folks (<4 mil) than Mario Kart Wii/Wii Fit (20+ mil). Besides, Wii Fit Plus with Balance Board continue selling at a decent rate (there is even a shortage after the holidays). I think it would be hard for Wii Vitality Sensor/PS Move/Ms Natal to catch up.

Thoughts?

MikeB predicts that the PS3 will sell about 140 million units by the end of 2016 and triple the amount of 360s in the long run.

I predict Natal with about 10 Million sales.

It obviously depends on software. Nintendo have a good track record in that department of course, but VS has a big question mark over it in my mind.

A game I'm developing with some friends:

It is largely a technical exercise but feedback is appreciated.

Since it's Nintendo I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and not automatically assume it will suck, but I really want to see what they do with the Vitality Sensor.

Wii Balance Board > all 3 combined.

Move will not move that much hardware I think. Natal still has to prove me it works, in other words, I think it'll fail. And the vitality sensor... it's a mistery, but not even nintendo can make all those sales miracles forever.

Around the Network

Vitality Sensor easily and by a wide margin.

odd device + Nintendo's creative force= VICTORY!

Nintendo is crazy company, and when all said and done! Wii Fit > All!

If Pachter hates it, it will sell the most. Just the general trend this gen.
