Forums - Microsoft Discussion - Fallout 3 Game of the Year Question for 360

I was wondering if anyone who owns Fallout 3 Game of the Year for 360 could answer this question.  I own the origional Fallout 3 and lately my brother has been thinking about purching the game.  I've heard that the Game of the Year edition has a second disk that has all of the expansion paks for the game.  Is it possible to install these packs on multiple accounts so that I can play them too?

Around the Network

I originally played Fallout 3 with the original version. Once the GOTY edition came out, I sold my old one and got the new one.  All my old gamesaves worked fine with the new GOTY edition.

From what I can tell, Disk 1 is identical to the original Fallout 3 disk.  The second disk is all 5 DLC packs.  You install the second disk onto the HDD and then store it away.  Everything is run from the first disk.  There are no serial numbers or anything associated with the second disk.

I haven't tested it, but I would assume you can simply install the second disk on your brother's HDD and he should be able to access.

I own the game and I can say with certainty that you can install the addon packs on as many xbox's as you want and anyone can play them. No one profile 'owns' the content on the disk.

Great thanks for the info. I told my brother I would give him some money toward the game just as long as I can use the second disc's on my Xbox too.

Good deal. Good thinking too. Why PO people for sales you weren't going to get anyway? GOTYs = Gravy. Bethesda made good money and more to follow this fall. Now EA would put annoying drm on for sure. I'm a little surprised but you've got solid confirmation. PL and BS are great dlc.
