Forums - Gaming Discussion - Bungie Rep: "PS3 is an option" O_O

Wow...

Friction: MS wants them to keep pounding out Halo games... their artists are probably burned out and want to work on something different.

imo.

This would be good, I would like to see a Bungie game on the PS3, I have enjoyed the Halo series on the Xbox. It would be interesting to see what they could come up with

They actually said "We are not looking at one particular piece of technology right now" which means the PSP, the Wii, the DS and anything is an option.

This is nothing. 2nd party developers praise other machines all the time. Unless Microsoft is really burning them with halo after halo Bungie will stick to one machine and that is Microsofts

I still say this would be a significant thorn in Microsoft's side, games from it's biggest dev being put on it's closest rival's console? I can't see it flying, although Bungie is independent.

I think this situation cuts both ways. Bungie wants to be a multiplat developer, fine, MS just won't pay for the ads. How much would a Bungie game sell without the massive funding Microsoft puts into the marketing campaign?

Bungie has said a long time ago that they would be making multiplatform games for the PS3 in the future, but will still make exclusives for Microsoft. This is like last years news, lol.

Get ready for Oni HD!

right.....this will never happen. Bungie's ENTIRE fanbase is on the 360 considering they have never released a console game for any system other than the xbox brand, and because MS will literally pay them millions to keep it exclusive. Their saying things like this basically to get as much cash from MS as possible.

Well, considering that Bungie and Naughty Dog are buddies...

Bet with Dr.A.Peter.Nintendo that Super Mario Galaxy 2 won't sell 15 million copies up to six months after it's release, the winner will get Avatar control for a week and signature control for a month.
