I guess you can't talk about games to determine a console failure or not, because games are subjective. I might like what you don't and viceversa. But sales, and revenue are something you can't possible deny it, or spin it in any way.

Wow .... BHR prediction for God of War 3 WW numbers for week ending the 20th and 27th are almost spot on.

You need to realize that supply or no supply, it makes little difference on how a game release will effect overall hardware sales.

People who were going to buy a PS3 to play God of War still need to buy a PS3 to play God of War... The only difference is the time table in which they buy the PS3. Instead of the week of God of War they have to wait a week after, or two weeks after to find a PS3 to buy. In the end they still bought a PS3 to play God of War.....

Anyone here think that maybe next week PS3 could outsell the Wii with it getting back in stock? I'm sure there are parts of the country where supply is much more constrained than others which could make a few weeks of big numbers.

its good too see some green light for the PS3, however the set back for it is because of the shortage in supply and the increase of demand. but i see that the shortage is affecting America in our side of the world demand and supply of PS3s is almost even.

Damn, seemed like the troll actually wanted to get banned. Weird. Wonder why.

But anyway, good job Sony. They were even able to beat out the 360 in its home turf this week. So, they were able to claim 2nd in sales for home consoles in every region. Well, unless they are ahead of the Wii in Japan, but I don't think that will be the case. I think next week may look similar to this week.
