I got AVP last week for the PS3, and I really like the game, but am getting quite pissed off with the multiplayer.

Everytime I log on I wait for 15 minuites for a game, and when it finally starts there's only 3 people there!!  What the hell is going on?? Surely there's more than 3 people in the whole damn world that are playing the game!!   The game has lots of cool sounding multiplayer modes, but with only 3 people on the map, they kinda suck ass!

Has anyone else had a problem with this?  I thought I might download the new map pack, but if I can't get more people in a game then it's just money down the toilet.

I´ve tried... online is kinda strange... I dunno why... I thought my problem was because I live in Brazil... but as I see, there´s not soo much people logged to try the multiplayer..

Yeah, I would of hoped there would be a decent amount of players out there though, the game is still quite new after-all.

I only played the demo and it took for ever to find a match. I had to only play with people on my friend list. Even a match with a friend took about 3-5 minutes to start. I think they didn't really hope for many people to buy the game and must have some bad servers. I know I'm not buying the game since I didn't really enjoy the demo.

Yeah the matchmaking in the demo was bad, but I was hoping that would be fixed in the final game.  Guess I was wrong....

I've not been impressed with the multi-player at all. I wouldn't even bother with it.

I'm more looking forward for to Aliens: Colonial Marines, that looks a whole funbox more fun.

Please... OF TOPIC... but are you enjoing the Single Player campaign? Just courious..

I've not really played the single player much yet.  I bought FFXIII a few weeks ago, so I'm gonna attemt to complete that first.   A mate of mine completed the single player though, he said it was great, if a little bit short.  I think basicaly if you love the Alien or Predator movies (like I do) then you'll love the game.  And the multi-player would be excellent if the matchmaking wasn't so shite (I love playing as the Alien, sneaking up behind someone and pressing square - instant gory death!)
