Forums - Gaming Discussion - Who are your favorite video game composers?

I couldn't name a video game music composer if I tried, but I'll go with anything Nintendo

If you drop a PS3 right on top of a Wii, it would definitely defeat it. Not so sure about the Xbox360. - mancandy

Jeremy Soule indeed. All the Guild Wars soundtracks were amazing!

Nobu Uematsu would be my favourite, he has had SO many hits. There's probably over 100 songs I love from Uematsu, and he really knows how to set the stage for the scenes in games.

I also really like Yasonori Mitsuda and Hitoshi Sakimoto a lot too.

I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.

Yoko Shimomura. An absolute big fan of her music. Can't wait for the epic music she composes for Versus XIII since Somnus is already epic.

Nobuo Uematsu and Harry Gregson-Williams are also my favs.

ALso I dunno how many times Hans Zimmer has composed music for video games other than Modern Warfare 2 but he's gotta be my fav Composer ever in general. Pirates of the Caribbean and The Dark Knight. Do I need to go on?
