One of the most important aspects of any game is how good it looks. I know, gameplay comes first, and for many the story comes after but don’t be fooled, countless gamers who’ve experienced Uncharted 2 have died many deaths staring at the HDTV screen and the visually stunning scenes in said game; so don’t tell me graphics don’t matter because it does.

Alan Wake is not out yet but will be in the next two months. Some new screens have surfaced and to be honest, they give Uncharted 2 a run for its cash, no joke. To prove it, we’ve gathered are few screens of each so you could compare them for yourself.

I always thought the Train scene in Uncharted 2 was just ok visually speaking. There's far better to see in Uncharted 2 (the ice cave or the village were amazing).

I think the Ice Cave would do Uncharted 2 more justice than the Train Scene. It looked amazing!

remember the bullshots released for forza 3 and the real gameplay after?
will be the same with alan wake and even if the screens are no bullshots, uncharted 2 still looks better

Lol yeah, Uncharted 2 wins just by variety, seriously, find some better videos and screenshots.

In those pictures, although neither of them are gameplay, Uncharted 2 STILL looks better anyway, Alan Wake has more lower res textures (Look at the sign behind him in the last picture, or the wooden bridge the car is going over), even the character models don't look as good to be fair (Why does Alans hair looks like it was made with clay and plopped onto his head?)

Sorry if I'm making myself look like a fanboy, but seriously, in my opinion, Uncharted 2 looks better, this won't stop me from buying Alan Wake the day it comes out though, I'm still looking forward to it...
